Pure Rose was born out of a simple mission - to share with you the myriad of health and beauty benefits of the super herb Bulgarian Rose (a.k.a. Rosa Damascena). We believe that nutrition resides at the heart of dynamic vitality and longevity. Our goal is to nourish your body, uplift your mood and energize your soul through every one of our pristine natural products.
My name is Tor, founder of Pure Rose. I wanted to share with you why we created Pure Rose. I embraced a healthy lifestyle at a young age. While pregnant with me, my mother adhered to the regimen of a 100% fruit diet. Undoubtedly that impacted me - I’m yet to meet someone who loves fruit as much as I do. To this day, I’m still amazed by and grateful for the holistic wisdom she imparted to me over the years, knowledge that is scarcely known by Western medicine.
Later, as I turned to professional sports, proper nutrition became a must. I became a keen observer of content labels. It soon became apparent that beverages were loaded with a host of unhealthy elements, primarily sugar…sugar…and more sugar!
I realized that something had to be done. It was time to take the beverage industry to task, and merely cutting carbs, sugar and toxic artificial ingredients would not be enough. Developing ultra-healthy alternatives that nourish our body, mind and soul became a personal mission.
In late 2016, I had an epiphany. My native Bulgaria (I moved to California 16 years earlier) had something truly precious and applicable to offer - the super herb, Bulgarian Rosa Damascena, a time-honored medicinal plant for which Bulgaria has been world-renowned for centuries. I researched everything I could find on the Bulgarian Rose - from hundreds of scientific studies to time-tested Ayurvedic and Chinese applications of the Rose. It dawned on me that the Bulgarian Rose was truly the jewel of Bulgaria, and I needed to share it with the world. The company I would go on to build would combine my innate passion for health and wellness, my focus on building companies with positive impact and my desire to forever shine a favorable light upon my homeland... And that's how Pure Rose was born.
